Free and premium

ZohaNur has two parts: a free core, and optional premium features. This page is the authoritative statement of which is which, so nobody has to guess and nobody can be surprised later.

The free core — guaranteed permanent#

Everything a Muslim needs for daily worship is free, for everyone, forever:

• The complete Quran, in every included script — Uthmani, IndoPak, Naskh and Tajweed — with translations and word-by-word display
• All sixteen hadith collections, with search
• Prayer times, calculated offline on your device, with alerts and adhan
• Qibla compass
• Tasbeeh, daily adhkar, and the ninety-nine names
• Islamic calendar
• Zakat calculator and sadaqah tracker
• Stories of the prophets, Ahl al-Bayt and the companions
• Quran recitation streaming

These will never move behind a paywall. Not in a future version, not under a new name, not partially. If a feature is on this list, it stays free. This promise is the free core's guarantee, and it is deliberately written down in public so it can be held against us.

The free tier is also complete in another way: no advertising, no tracking, and no nagging to upgrade. It is not a demo. It is the sadaqah jariyah this project was built to be.

Premium — optional, and what sustains the project#

Premium adds conveniences and extras on top of the core. The exact feature list is shown inside each app and may grow over time. Premium is purchased through Google Play billing, and this revenue is what supports the project's continued development and its developer.

Two rules govern what can ever become premium:

1. Nothing moves from free to paid. Premium grows by adding new things, never by taking existing free features away.
2. Worship never requires payment. Any feature necessary to pray, read, and remember Allah stays in the free core by definition.

Practical matters#

• Purchases and billing are handled entirely by Google Play — prices are shown in your local currency in the app, and cancellation works through your Play Store subscriptions page like any other app.
• Refunds follow Google Play's refund policy.
• Family and hardship: if premium would genuinely help your worship and you cannot afford it, write to help@zohanur.app. This is not a marketing line; it is read by the developer.
