ZohaNur is a set of Islamic applications for daily worship: the Quran with several Arabic scripts and translations, sixteen hadith collections, prayer times calculated on your own device, the qibla, adhkar, and a good deal more.
Everything essential works with no internet connection. There is no advertising and no tracking. The core of every app is free and will stay free; a set of optional premium features supports the project's development.
This site is the reference library behind them. Every Learn more link in the apps opens a page here, so that explanations, evidences and sources live somewhere they can be corrected and expanded without waiting for an app update.

The four apps#
ZohaNur is published as four separate applications that share one codebase. Install only what you need — a phone with little storage does not have to carry a hadith library to get prayer times.

What this project is, honestly#
The free core of ZohaNur is built as a sadaqah jariyah — something meant to keep benefiting people after the one who built it is gone. The Quran, hadith, prayer times, qibla and the other essentials are free for everyone, permanently, with no advertising and no tracking.
The project sustains itself honestly: a set of optional premium features supports the developer, who builds and maintains ZohaNur alone in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, alongside full-time work. There are no investors to satisfy, so there is no reason to harvest your data or design the app to keep you opening it. Buying premium is never required to worship with the app.

Corrections are welcome#
If you find a mistranslation, a misattributed narration, a weak hadith presented without its grading, or a fiqh point stated more confidently than it should be, please report it. Religious content carries a duty of accuracy that ordinary software does not, and corrections are treated as the highest priority of any message received.
